NanoBlox, Inc. develops proprietary products on an extremely small scale utilizing detonation synthesis to create materials known as Ultra-Dispersed Diamond (UDD), Nanocrystalline diamond or Nanodiamond (the Nanoblox) for industrial and biomedical uses. NanoBlox produces a variety of different materials and products. NanoBlox has successfully applied its materials for catalysis of electrolytic metal finishing, texturing of magnetic storage media, friction reduction, lubrication and tribological modification of wear surfaces. This Nano coating technology can also apply to the automotive industry, DOD armaments, and it can be used to anodize various household products. We have demonstrated experimentally in laboratory testing, the "cleanest" surface chemistry and highest nanodiamond content presently available anywhere. Currently, our most innovative technologies are being developed for the Biotechnology and Biomedical fields. By functionalizing our primary particle for creating new biocompatible nontoxic materials, we plan to become a unique provider of new therapies and novel technologies in the future. |

The NanoBlox Team Made a Presentation at the II International Conference on High Energy Materials in Belokurikha, Russia in 2006
In September, Dr. Kalter, Dr. Gogotsi and Chuck Picardi, NanoBlox's Chief Technical Officer, submitted presentations at the international conference regarding continued innovations in nanodiamond research. Topics included applications for industry and biomedical uses. The conference was attended by participants from Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, France and other prestigious centers throughout Russia, including members of the Russian National Academy of Science. NanoBlox was the only U.S. representative and the only group focused on biomedical applcations for Nanodiamond. This continues to illustrate NanoBlox committment in this area along with our growing relationship and collaboration in development with Altai, Federal Research & Production Center, Biysk, Russia. |
